It was quick and I was hungry so it made me full I had fish and chips I sadly didn't, like the mushy peas cos it had mint on but I would prefer it with no mint but we'll do and this is there credit
I visited and had breakfast here on Saturday morning. Its a lovely place and the breakfast was really good. The staff were friendly and polite. Many thanks
We had our wedding at the Borough and it was absolutely perfect. The managers met us several times to talk through all the details, and on the day they guided us through everything so we could enjoy stress-free. All the staff are so lovely and happy to help with any request. We also stayed two nights and ate there, the accommodation was amazing and we had many comments from guests on the excellent food. The perfect place for a wedding, or a stay, or just some food. Thank you so much to all the team.
Staff are very accommodating and friendly. We needed a last minute room re: a relative in hospital. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast included was a good range of choices and delicious. Can't praise the staff enough. I would highly recommend this hotel and bar area. We will definitely be staying here again, hopefully under brighter circumstances Thanks to all the staff
Went in for a meal with a friend the other day. The food was excellent and while there was a mixup with the order it was solved promptly, cheerfully, and with generosity. Thoroughly worth a return visit.
I stay here a lot when working and about time I left a review. A lot of hotels around but this one does it very well. Huge, comfy and well equipped rooms. Excellent food, only ever had breakfast but it’s always been superb. Staff are friendly, attentive and always welcoming. The bar is well stocked, would recommend the Lune Brew Pale Ale, amazing local brew. Good location too. I’ve stayed there before with family and the dogs and always get the same treatment.
We enjoyed a fabulous Boxing Day lunch for 7 people, celebrating my Mum’s birthday. The food was delicious and well priced for the quality and portion sizes. The staff were exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel special! The owner made a special effort to wish my Mum happy birthday and gave us all a round of birthday shots. Really warm, hospitable and generous. Will definitely return!
